Volvo: Brand Extension
This project was completed for the Masters in Branding Program at SVA. The challenge for the project was to choose an existing brand and find a way to unify, simplify and amplify that brand. The extension would need to continue to define the brand’s pillars, promise and ethos. The new brand extension and strategy were to be carried throughout consumer usage, overall costs for the company and an advertising campaign.
A moving company called MOVED by Volvo. Volvo’s brand promise of safety, quality and caring for the environment have been the key motivators of loyal Volvo owners. Volvo is a company that people trust, especially when it comes to their family’s safety. It is only natural for this trust in Volvo to extend in moving their families and their most precious belongings.
