Shayla Hunter embodies the best of both media creator and brand strategist. As a visual content director, Shayla has worked within the world of the best writers, reporters, storytellers, and photographers. She knows how media and visual content can create the perfect narrative. Shayla earned her MPS from the Masters in Branding program at the School of Visual Arts in July 2017. During the program she honed her skills for strategic thinking and brand strategy. She has worked as a visual content director, creating narratives for brands at media companies such as Time Inc. and Condé Nast. Shayla is driven by media, pop culture, and the trends that evolve around them. She is constantly taking in new information that she encounters daily—from performance art, photography, design, fashion, and music. Shayla finds inspiration in all things and experiences, and she brings a different way of thinking to any project. Shayla believes that every brand has an interesting story to tell, and that story can bring a brand to a new place it never expected.
